Uses: The main role of chenodeoxycholic acid is to reduce the saturation of cholesterol in bile. Most patients take CDCA (when CDCA accounts for 70% of bile salts in bile), lipids return to the state of microcapsules, cholesterol is at Unsaturated state, so that the cholesterol in the stone dissolves and falls off.
