Physicochemical properties: Colorless, tasteless, needle-like crystal. The melting point is 134.5-135.5°C. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in hot water, soluble in alcohol, ether, acetone, benzene, acetic acid and chloroform.

Uses: It is a broad-spectrum plant growth regulator that can promote cell division and expansion, induce the formation of adventitious roots, increase fruit set, prevent fruit drop, and change the ratio of male and female flowers.
